My experience with Heritage Scholars was amazing. I learned a lot about Judaism and worked to develop my own personal stance on certain beliefs. I met many other Jewish individuals and my knowledge about the Jewish community has been strengthened. The two most important things I took away from the program was a relationship with Rabbi Brumer that I hope to continue through the rest of my time at ASU, and also deepening friendships with other Jewish students at ASU. I thank the Heritage Scholars Program. Kenneth R.

Heritage Scholars broadened my understanding of the Jewish people and allowed me to explore my relationship with Judaism. I now feel more spiritually connected to Judaism. I came to greater appreciate how special the Jewishe people are. It gives me great pride to say that I am Jewish, that my people have defied all odds and have withstood the test of time. I feel a newfound connection to my roots, and hope to learn more about Judaism. I am grateful to have participated in Heritage Scholars and to have been given the opportunity to know my heritage on a deeper and more personal level. Lindsey F.

Heritage Scholars has encouraged me to understand the foundations of my Jewish identity – an exhilarating experience! Heritage Scholars has performed an incredible service by enabling me to better understand my Jewish identity. I feel confident, and consider myself even lucky to be born a Jew. Elliot S.

There was a great energy and camaraderie in the group making it great for discussions on all topics. The leader's perspective was a refreshing change of pace from regular university courses. I look forward to attending more courses. Nicole B.M.
